At the East Grinstead Children's Choir, we believe that music should be accessible to all children, regardless of their background or experience. As the first choir in East Grinstead to be open to all children in the community (rather than being tried to a specific school or religious group) we are here to offer a unique and inclusive musical experience. 

Our Choir was founded out of a passion to bring music back into children's lives, especially as arts provision in the national curriculum has sadly diminished. We understand that private music lessons can be costly and difficult to access without the right guidance, so we've created a space where every child can explore their musical potential in a supportive and nurturing environment. 

Our Mission is to prove a child-led holisitic approach to choir life and ensemble singing, while also laying the foundations of basic musicianship. Under the expert guidance of our friendly and experienced leaders, children will learn how to use their voices, breathe correctly and express themselves with confidence. We pride ourselves on embracing each child's individuality, adapting to their needs rather than expecting them to fit into a mould!

Singing is more than just making beautiful music - its an activity that offers physical and emotional benefits, supported by scientific research. We aim to foster a lifelong love and curiosity for music in every child who joins us, whether they continue in choirs or find their own musical path.
